Io Audio Technologies Releases LSZH Cat 6 Cable

Offers Best in Safety Technology for Category Cable

Io Audio Technologies has released a new solid Cat 6 cable that features a black Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket. Sometimes referred to as Low Smoke No Halogen,  LSZH is an IEC flammability standard that provides the benchmark for flame resistance and the reduction of toxic emissions in the event of a fire. This standard makes Io Audio Technologies cable the ideal choice for applications where safety is paramount. These types of applications include residential and commercial buildings, houses of worship, commercial AV facilities, and manufacturing facilities to name a few.

This Cat 6 cable features 23 AWG conductors which reduce signal loss, benefitting PoE (Power over Ethernet) connections. The internal separator and aluminum foil shielding help to improve crosstalk performance and reduce external interference.

Available in 1000 ft pull boxes, this cable also features a distance marking every 2 ft so integrators will always be able to know how much they’ve used on a job and how much cable remains on the spool for future jobs.

Suited for these applications: Ethernet, HDBaseT, AES/EBU Digital Audio, Digital Video, and low voltage control protocols, this Cat 6 cable provides a solid foundation for any commercial/home network, AV, communications, and broadcast system. It is the best choice for future proofing any installation.
